 Animal being sculptured

On deciding on an animal to be sculptured, an intense study of the subject is undertaken. This will include body shape and stance, skin texture, muscle tone, even feeding habits, environment etc.A polystyrene or hard wire "armature" is formed into shape. This is then covered in sculpting wax, and modeled into shape. A wax base is made for the model to stand on.

The study of finer details
The finer details are again studied and reflected faithfully, to produce the Artist's final wax model.
Silicone mould A multiple silicone mould is made in a fibre-glass case.
Molten was painted Molten wax is painted or poured into the mould.

Caring for your Bronze

The bronze sculpture is treated with different chemicals & acids at various temperatures to create it's unique patina. The surface patina is then coated with a thin layer of wax to minimalize any further reaction and to give the bronze sculpture a shiny surface lustre.

To maintain this lustre one should buff the sculpture with a lint free cloth.

Should polish be required, one can apply a thin layer of clear shoe polish and buff until one has brought out the sheen and lustre required.

Using an abrasive liquid or material will not only remove the polish but may destroy the patina. Sculptures kept outside (especially near the coast) will acquire a natural patina unless polish is applied regularly.
